Year Founded: It was founded on 13 April 2000 under the Maldivian brand. The airline is based in Male and its operational as a state-owned entity, which provide with both domestic and international flights.

Headquarters: Maldivian is the national airline of the Maldives that is operated by the Island Aviation Services Ltd, which is headquartered in Male. Know that the main hub for operations is Velena International Airport (MLE).

Key Milestones Achieved

First Wide-Body Operations (Jan 2025): The arrival of the Airbus A300-200 features 264 seats across the many classes, such as Business, Premium Economy, and Economy, which marks a historic shift for the airlines only.
Expansion to China: By following the new age aircraft, the Maldivian has launched direct flights to Chengdu in January 2025, which is followed by Shenzhen, which has helped in boosting capacity for tourists.
EASA Part-145 Certification: The Maldivian’s maintenance facility has achieved the EASA Part-145 certification, which can enhance its capacity to serve its own and the third party aircrafts too.
Hajj Pilgrimage Support: The airline is partnered with the Maldives Hajj Corporation, using the new A330 to transport 500 pilgrims, which showcases an increased capacity.
Regional Fleet Growth: They have continued with their investments in the regional connectivity with the addition of their 5th ATR aircraft.

Enter the departure and destinations, date of traveling, number of passengers, and others.
Click on the ‘search button’ to see all the results of the many flights.
Now you have to select the flights that you want to book.
Fill in the passenger details and contact information.
Close the booking with the payment.
You will receive an email with your itinerary at your shared email ID.
